- Foreground recovery
- Brings the processor back when it leaves the foreground and handles its crash or unresponsive dialogs.
- Stale heartbeat recovery
- Off by default. Requires two readings older than 45 minutes, with at least an hour between attempts. A fresh heartbeat confirms recovery.
- Optional telemetry
- Send health samples to your own dashboard. Nothing is sent until you configure an endpoint.
Getting started
Download and verify
Get the APK from GitHub Releases. Check its SHA-256 and signing certificate against the README before installing.
Grant permissions
Enable Accessibility and Display over other apps. Follow the app’s battery settings guidance.
Start protection
Enable protection in Guardian. Stale-heartbeat recovery is a separate, optional setting.
Guardian is a separate app. It cannot prevent every crash or guarantee earnings. It does not replace the Acurast processor.
